Zhuyin, also known as Zhulong - is an extremely ancient god in Chinese mythology. He has been there since the time Pangu created the heavens and the earth. He Resides on Zhangwei Mountain north of the Chishui River, outside the Northwest Sea. He has a dragon body with a human face, thousands of staff long, bright red scales, bright eyes, and a torch in his mouth. According to legend, Zhuyin has great power, with open eyes, illuminating everywhere, representing daytime, with eyes closed, dark sky, representing dark sky, breathing in winter, breathing out in summer . He can control the rain and control the wind, neither eat or drink, nor sleep or rest. There is a theory that Zhuyin represents the sun, another says Zhuyin represents fire, and there is a theory that Zhuyin is the god of creation.
According to ancient Chinese legend, in the early days, Zhuyin was the god that maintained the world. He opened his eyes day, closed his eyes at night, exhaled into the wind, rotating the four seasons.
Later, when the sun and the moon stabilized, Zhuyin retreated to the Youdou Gate (hell) in the northern end. The divine power radiating from him is the only light source for the dark underworld. Later, after Houyi shot down the nine suns (nine Three-Legged Golden Crows), their souls went down to Zhuyin. He ordered the nine suns to alternately illuminate the mecca. After that, Zhuyin fell asleep.
Years later, the cataclysm occurred. Gun, an officer with divine blood, was ordered to rule the water. Gun knew that in the mountain where Zhuyin lived there was a soil called Xirang, which could reproduce on its own, and then planned to use it to build dykes to prevent water. Gun then took advantage of when Zhuyin fell asleep, came to take a handful of Xirang to bring back.
But Xirang is a treasure of heaven and cannot be used arbitrarily. Gun was condemned, and killed by the fire god Zhurong, to the mountains of Zhuyin. Gun's body lay there for three years, but the soul did not leave the body, the body did not rot, the belly was swollen like a pregnant woman. A black crow - Zhuyin's pet - woke up the god. Zhuyin pecked Gun's belly with a magic knife, instantly flying out a small one-horned dragon. Gun's body itself turns into a Jiaolong and plunges into the cliff (some are written as bears, and there are records as three). And that one-horned dragon turned into a child. That child was later Yu- the founder of the Xia Dynasty, the first country in Chinese history.
